Easy way to make your 3d design

How to make a ready to print 3D design

You want to get your own 3d printer, but you have no idea how to make a great design, you have an idea but you want to make your design for free, here I will teach you how and where you can do it.
I will learn you step by step how to make your design, In the beginning, you must go to this site :
https://www.tinkercad.com
you have to sign up, verify your account and Log in.
After that you get access to a lot of designs making by other members in the Galery section, you can choose any design, download it and print it by your 3D printer.

Step by Step, make your design :

In the Dashboard, click on Create a new design button.

You get access to this window :

Section 1:

It's a 3d work plane is the place where you make your design.

Section 2:

Edition section, here you can Cut, Past, and Copy your different design shape, also you can delete an element, go back and forward in design steps.

Section 3:

The view section helps you to better visualize your design by turn it on a different plane, zoom in and zoom out.

Section 4:

In this part, you can choose from the most important shape to make your design, when you choose the shape you can change his color, his appearance, and his dimension.

Section 5:

This section tools will help you to make your design  simply aligned and with the flip option you can make your design symmetric, and with the Group/Ungroup option you can finish your design shapes, After that you will name it in Section 6, Finally, you can download your design to your computer, by clicking on the Export button either for 3D print ( .OBJ or .STL) or for Laser cutting (.SVG).
You can Print it directly On your 3d printer.

3D models... Software in need

Creating and printing unique 3D models requires three types of software :

First, there is a 3D modeling program used to design your own models. Traditionally, CAD-computer-aided design is used for modeling objects.

Secondly, there is computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) program that converts your model into a specific machine instruction for the printer robot.

Thirdly, there is a printer control program, or client, that sends those instructions to the printer in a timely manner and provides a real-time interface for printer functions and settings.

3D modeling software:
In simple terms, modeling programs are programs that are able to produce a three-dimensional model and export them to STL format. Most programs that are provided with the 3D printer do not come with 3D modeling software. You can download free software or buy a more advanced software program to create 3D models.

Software Shredder Model:
The Model Shredder takes the STL file of the 3D model as an input and creates a G-code file, which cuts the 3D model into layers with a thin thickness. Shredder does not create a three-dimensional model but depends on the production of 3D modeling software to work.
Most programs come with a manufacturer's 3D printer and usually take an STL file as an input and create a G-code for the printer.

3D printer composition

Essential parts of 3D printers

In these years, the 3d printer is the most practical and very easy to use, because of there development, in this article I will show you the most parts composing this type of printers.

1. The external structure :

It represents the outer frame that connects all parts of the printer together and is either open or closed. The printer structure must be solid and robust to print accurately. If the frame swings around, you will not be able to get an accurate print, because the motors are moving so fast and if they exceed a certain limit, the printer begins to vibrate, which affects the print results.

2. Print bed :

Every 3D printer needs a flat surface to build the printed patterns on it. This surface is usually called a construction platform. Some printers have a hot printing platform, where the surface can greatly improve print quality because it keeps the plastic warmth out during the printing period to prevent the hologram from moving and warping and thus distorting the stereotype.

3. Moving parts:

3D printers need to move the nozzle and construction platform from one point to another at high speed and accuracy to build prototypes. It achieves the movement process by using a set of linear motors where they are attached to screws, belt or other systems on the rollers.

The 3D printer must move in three dimensions X, Y, Z to build the 3D model. So there are 3 to 4 linear motors that are used to give movements to these axes. There are different types of printers available that use different combinations of movements. The platform moves in the direction of Y and the nozzle moves in the direction of X and Z (or the platform moves in the Z direction and the nozzle moves in the direction of X and Y) each direction have here proper motor. Another motor is used to push the material (thread) towards the hot nozzle.
